Circuitstead Lab is operated by an individual sole proprietor using the Circuitstead brand. This page explains how information is handled when you visit circuitstead.com, request a guide, buy a digital product or contact us.

Information and purposes

When you request the free guide, Kit processes your email address, any other information you choose to enter, and records associated with the form, confirmation and email delivery. Circuitstead uses the information needed to provide the requested guide, handle delivery problems and manage your email preferences.

When you buy a product, Lemon Squeezy processes checkout, payment and order information. Circuitstead can receive the customer and order information needed to identify your purchase, answer questions, help with fulfillment and maintain business records. Circuitstead does not directly receive or store your full payment card details.

When you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use these to answer your request and handle product support, refunds or privacy questions. Do not send passwords, API keys, full payment card details, private backups or sensitive customer data.

Cloudflare serves and protects the website. It processes technical request information, which can include IP addresses, traffic and browser information, to deliver the site and operate its services. Circuitstead may use available service information to investigate availability or security problems.

Free delivery and marketing are separate

A request for the free guide is a request for delivery. Requesting the guide or confirming that request alone is not proof of consent to promotional email. Circuitstead sends promotional email only where the applicable consent is recorded in Kit. You can unsubscribe from marketing using the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or by contacting support@circuitstead.com.

Messages needed to fulfill an existing request, answer support or deal with an order are distinct from marketing. Unsubscribing from marketing does not require you to give up customer support.

Service providers

Cloudflare hosts and serves the website. Kit processes form and subscriber information and email delivery. Lemon Squeezy is the Merchant of Record and processes paid checkout, payment, order and digital-file delivery. Our email service handles messages sent to our contact addresses. These services process information for their functions and may also have their own privacy obligations and practices.

You can read the Cloudflare privacy policy, Kit privacy policy and Lemon Squeezy privacy policy. Provider services may process information in countries other than your own. Their policies describe their processing and relevant safeguards.

Circuitstead uses customer information for requested delivery, support and business operations, and for marketing only where the applicable consent exists. We do not sell customer email lists or use them for unrelated promotional distribution.

Cookies and measurement

The website does not add an independent advertising pixel or send page and checkout events to a separate analytics collection service. It does not maintain a separate website customer or entitlement database. Embedded forms, hosted checkout and infrastructure providers may use cookies or similar technologies for their services; this is not a claim that the whole experience is cookie-free. Your browser settings can limit these technologies, which may affect forms or checkout.

Retention and security

Information is kept as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, support, business records and applicable legal obligations. Retention in provider systems also depends on their services and requirements. Unsubscribing and deleting information are different requests; some order or legal records may need to be retained.

We aim to limit the information used for each task. No website, email system or storage service can be guaranteed completely secure. Please share only what is needed for your request.

Your choices and requests

Email support@circuitstead.com to request access to, correction of or deletion of information, or to withdraw marketing consent. We may need enough information to identify the relevant record and verify that the request comes from the right person. We will handle applicable rights and deadlines under the law that applies to your request, and coordinate with a provider where needed. Some information may be retained where permitted or required by law; we will explain relevant limitations. You may also have a right to contact your local data protection authority.
