Refund policy

The Self-Hosted Home Server Build Kit is a downloadable digital product. Please read the description, included resources and reference-lane requirements before buying. This policy does not offer a general change-of-mind or money-back guarantee. It does not remove any refund, cancellation, withdrawal or other remedy required by applicable law.

How to request help or a refund

Email support@circuitstead.com with your order number or receipt reference, the email address used for the purchase and a short description of the problem. Contact us as soon as you notice an issue so we can investigate. This request does not shorten any applicable legal deadline. Do not send full card details, passwords or private system backups.

We review the purchase and problem to determine the appropriate response under this policy and applicable law. Depending on the issue, that may be help accessing the files, a corrected or replacement file, or a refund where justified or legally required. This is not a promise that every request will result in a refund, and support troubleshooting is not a condition that overrides a statutory refund right.

Issues we will review

• Duplicate purchases: send the references for both purchases of the same edition so we can review whether a duplicate payment should be refunded.
• Non-delivery: tell us if you cannot locate the order or download information. We will investigate delivery and help arrange access or the appropriate remedy if the product was not supplied.
• Inaccessible or corrupt files: describe the download or opening error. We will investigate the supplied file and offer an appropriate correction, replacement or other remedy, including a refund where applicable.
• Materially misdescribed products: explain how the supplied resource differs materially from the description shown when you bought it. We will review that description and your applicable remedies.

A preference change or a setup outside the stated scope does not by itself establish a defect or misdescription. That does not affect any separate cancellation or other right you have under applicable law.

Payment and refund processing

Lemon Squeezy is the Merchant of Record and processes the paid order and any payment refund. An approved refund is handled through Lemon Squeezy and its payment process; the timing of receipt depends on the provider and payment method. Circuitstead does not promise an instant refund or a fixed processing time.

The Lemon Squeezy buyer terms also apply to checkout and may provide for provider action on a refund. This policy does not restrict Lemon Squeezy's rights or obligations as Merchant of Record, or any rights you have under applicable law.

Your legal rights

Downloadable status does not mean refunds are legally impossible. Rights may depend on your location, the nature of the issue and any valid consent given at checkout. Where applicable law provides a remedy, that law takes precedence over a conflicting policy term.
